Annual Growth: 6-12”
Specific Maintenance: Use great care when planting, because the branches are very brittle, and break more easily than most other species. Protect from deer.
General Maintenance: Regular watering, Structural Pruning (every 5-10 yrs), Annual balanced fertilizer (May-June, slow-release).

Great cold-hardiness, wind tolerant, drought tolerant, no major disease or pest concerns, soil adaptable, storm resistant.
