  • Mature Size: 20’ Tall x 10’ Wide

    Annual Growth: 8-12”

    Specific Maintenance: Remove any suckers from base of tree in early summer.

    General Maintenance: Regular watering, Structural Pruning (every 5-10 yrs), Annual balanced fertilizer (May-June, slow-release), Protect from deer.

  • Benefits:

    White flowers, airy canopy, bright red-orange fall color, great cold-hardiness, wind tolerant, no major disease or pest concerns, fruitless.

    Drawbacks:

    Very slow growth rate. Remove shoots at base of trunk in June.
