Benefits:
Orange fall color, good growth rate, great cold-hardiness, wind tolerant, drought tolerant, soil adaptable, pest issues are rare.
Drawbacks:
Acorns drop in Fall, most people don’t mind them with this species. Occasional iron chlorosis, treat with iron chelate. Occasional Fungal infection (oak rust), treat with fungicide according to label.
