  • Benefits:

    Dense foliage, pyramidal form, Yellow fall color, good growth rate, great cold-hardiness, wind tolerant, drought tolerant, soil adaptable, no disease or pest issues.

    Drawbacks:

    Acorns are fairly small, drop in Fall, most people don’t mind them in this species. Some leaves may hang on the tree all winter, dropping in spring (marsescence).
