  • MATURE SIZE: 15’ Tall x 15’ Wide

    ANNUAL GROWTH: 12-24”

    RIPENING: Early October

    SPECIFIC MAINTENANCE: Spring Pruning to encourage fruiting. Treat regularly for peach borer in summer.

    GENERAL MAINTENANCE: REGULAR WATERING, STRUCTURAL PRUNING (EVERY 5-10 YRS), ANNUAL BALANCED FERTILIZER (MAY-JUNE, SLOW RELEASE), PROTECT FROM DEER.

  • BENEFITS: bright pink flowers, edible nut, few pest/disease concerns, good growth rate, good cold-hardiness

    DRAWBACKS: somewhat messy if nuts aren’t used
